I chose the Pro's. I wanted the ability to adjust in more whites. The Blue are designed to run the ATI blue+ at full intensity. No need to select the blue+ from the templates, just runn everything 100%. The Pro's have more white LEDs and can be run to emulate blue+ by selecting the blue+ template but will loose some intensity. Then one can adjust in more white as desired. The blues can be adjusted more white but as in the pro you will loose a bit of intensity. However, "loosing" some intensity in either of them is not really going to be a loss per-say as they have over 200 watts of power (XR30) and more than likely you won't be running anywhere near full power unless you have a 3ft deep tank. Blue= 205w, Pro= 215w.

I a "Pro" … figured you can adjust the "Pro" to look more blue if you want but can't adjust the "Blue" to have a lot of white.

I run 3 XR15 Blues at 100% on a 5ft tank, RSR525. Without the T5s there is only a bit over 200PAR. Adding another XR15 might pull it up closer to 300PAR. Four XR15s are equivalent to 2 XR30s so I would most likely be running them at 100%.

I decided to go with 3 XR30 blues on my 47" reefer 350. all three running AB+ at 55% and getting 300-450 par on top of rock and 250 on sand. IMO blue is still little too white.

It's personal preference, eye of the beholder. If you like it, that's all that matters.
