a flipper magnet scraper. please let me demo a light lol

I've been trying to persuade the bossman to allow us to give away a new Radion! lol I'm like 97% sure I'm going to one myself once the RMS mount is available in the next month or so. We have a flipper in the office tank and it works great although I'm more of an Algae Free kinda guy.

Sorry to hear about your RBTA. I also have the EcoTech Battery Back-up. Although it doesn't happen much anymore, there were a lot of brownouts where I live when I was in college so I just didn't want to take any chances.

They are great looking fish. So far so good?

More skiddish then I thought they'd be. No where near the color they are supposed to be. That is according to all the pictures I've seen of them.

Have a package of misc. supplies on its way from MD. Also installed a new main return pump this weekend…a Waveline DC12000.

Yay! Thanks for choosing MD. :xd:

What made you decide to upgrade your return pump?

I was looking for a little more flow on a recent new build. When I plumbed the return, I included a manifold that is not only feeding a couple reactors; it’s also feeding a ½ hp chiller. I’m hoping the larger pump will provide the additional flow I was looking for.

That totally sounds like a worthwhile upgrade! Very cool. :tea:

We have an assembly video you may find useful for when you get going.

Slow is the way to go. Although I may be going too slow. I started buying parts for a new tank like a year + ago and now my coworkers make fun of me because it's still not up and running. lol #haters

All new cartridges for my RO/DI unit. Went from a TDS reading of 35 to 2.

Oh sweet! We just put up a new blog post about essential aquarium tools and a TDS meter was on our list.
