Let's do this!!! We have at least 25 kids already lined up for gifts! We had families come to the church yesterday to provide proof of income and other things. We just want to make sure that truly needy children are getting these gifts.

Rev - Thank you for the work you put into this great cause. I understand the joy you receive shopping for these children. One of my previous employers had a Christmas party every year for employee children and grandchildren. Santa was there to hand out the gifts and there were craft activities and games for the kids as well as party food and beverages. Each child received a $10 gift and my wife and I volunteered to do the shopping one year. We had a blast making all those little ones happy even though they didn't know we had done the shopping. It was my favorite "benefit" from an employer in my entire career. Paying me makes me happy but going to the effort to bring joy to my children or grandchildren is over and above anything else an employer can do.

Thats amazing. It is definately something you never forget. I cant deny I am typically kind of a scrouge... sorry for that. But I do love to help and give when the person really appreciates what has been done for them. I am sure if I was there I would probably be broke as I would donate everything I have. I really think this is great. I always try to donate to help children and our troops.

Rev, If for some reason we here at R2R come up a little short of what is needed. Let me know, I will do what I can to make this happen. Even If I have to work an extra day or something.

Hi there gang! Been super busy past few days and I just upadted the total!

Thank you all for the support, the stories, and encouragement. Without you all this could not get done! Remember every little bit helps!
