Alrighty then Here’s the numbers. Not so worried about nitrates I did take sample after stirring up an entire ocean..... Another vac and big water change on tap for Monday
Alk on target at 9.0
Nitrates ohhh up 50 to 80 after the big stir
Ca down 30 in 6 days to 410.
Mg down 160 in 12 days to 1340
Salinity 1.025
Temp 79
Really pleased to see measurable usage of Ca and Mg closing in on balance ;Stig
Gha still a bother but not a true nuisance it just grates on my OCD. I see pieces stuck on the gorgs cause fish picked it or it’s dying and floating loose just irks me.

Two spot Cardinals are out for entire day now which is cool to see love their color. Kole tang is working tank like crazy and is a slob....he swims around with algae spaghetti hanging out his mouth slowly munching it down...... shoulda named him Bluto.

Get a couple glimpses a day of the Possum Wrasse never a camera feast before he bolts tho. Feel better catching sight of him at least. Cpl pics photo credit KP

Sitting here watching the tank and realized GHA is good for something! After a stub all the little bits suspended in water really show of the flow to spectacular effect! Played with the gyre settings a bit and liking what I’m seeing not all the dtritus but the flow

I just set a bomb off in my tank as well. Through a filter sock in on the primary, and letting it settle before I test tomorrow night... sorry to hear about your role playing Godzilla on the reef. They will all bounce back I'm sure.

Anyone gave a wheelbarrow I can borrow? My butts been dragging for three days sick Think I’m getting on top off it breathing is important it seems Vaca and #RichaPalooza coming up and I need to get some stuff together.
Tanks still godzillad to sick to work on it hopefully by Thursday can get it tip top for viewing. possum wrasse pics to dark to post he loves his cave and from what I can see he’s ok.

Always suck to be sick on vaca. But urs is a month long. So I guess its bound to happen.

Tank looks good. I abused my liver last night and played hookie today. Shame on me. I wanted to get over to see the improvements uve made before richapalooza. But it will prolly be after.

Not sure I like the ratio pho’s to nitrate? I had hoped reactor would have killed it by now but a Huuuuge water change may be in order to finish this pig off. This is Fargin War!

Hey Reefers Was a great day today. Richapalooza was a blast. Was a pleasure to see @Fudsey again and meet Laurie and Sophie. Also nice to see @thejuice24 again in the flesh.So very cool to have a voice in my head when reading posts of @Crabby48 @NY_Caveman @Scurvy. @Katrina71 being the sweetie she is had a bottle there for us to share and got to speak with her a bit on the phone Gotta a pretty nice collection going of Cool R2R folks coming along here!

A special shout out to @Crabby48 he took a ride from party with me to check my tank. Don has a joy about him when it comes to reef tanks. I’m proud of my tank but look at it to critically like I’m judging myself. My heart swelled with a bit o pride with his reaction to my tank. I guess seeing it bring some joy to another like it does yourself helps change my own perception and not be so critical of my work. Thanks Don you made my day

Of course now I wish I took the ride with you guys. I was dreading sitting in a vehicle any longer with my back being in the condition that it is. The 2 hour rides there and back were quite detrimental. Im sure there will be another opportunity in the future!

Richapalooza is officially closed. Brian and Don are heading for home. No arrests no injuries but plenty of laughs . Was cool Brian stopped to see my tank in person before hitting the road. Love seeing tanks and sharing mine. Remembered a pic this time
