As u know, if I get the right buyer the lot will go. Otherwise I'm gonna take my time and try to get as much as I can by selling things off in frag packs or individual moves.

Geek Update:

Tank is on cruise control at this point. First round of icp-oes from @MarinLab in Louisiana.

I have highlighted the ones that are off in red. This was my 1st round, Prior to starting the red sea 4 part and kalkwasser. Pretty happy with what I see from the Fritz Rpm Blue. No dosing at all, just 10% biweekly wc's for the last 2 years.

I just sent out the 2nd round of tests yesterday. Should have results in a few weeks to see where the numbers are at.

Tested a little bit ago..
dKh 9.0 rs

Ca 450 rs

Mg 1520 rs (icp tests shows 1300, which I trust, since rs is known to yield higher results on average with their Mg)

Ph 8.3

Dont bother testing no3 anymore since all is well daily. The corals will let me know if things start sliding.

Need to reorder po4 reagents.

Looking forward to comparing the results of the next round. See how I'm doing as far as 4 parts and mG is concerned. I've got the kalk down to a science. I dont mind a .5 swing on the high side here and there. Change in the tide in my mind. Om the next build I'll mostly likely do a 3 part dosing system rather than kalk. Or set up a drip method like @Fudsey has in his basement setup. The ATO evap amounts on a tank with this much water surface really makes the Kalk dosage tough to get right. I'm currently at 1/4tsp/gal ratio. And its holding between 8.7 and 9.2 every few days that I test.

Basically sitting back at this point and waiting for someone to take the livestock off my hands for the right bid. /yawns

Rich it’s awesome seeing you light up the alert button again my friend . Please substitute back in the R2R groove for New York groove in vud

Thanks Ray. Wont be staying for too long, as soon as work starts up again I can almost guarantee mandatory saturdays. It's nice to be back on r2r to see how things are with everyone and the reefs. Cheers bud.

I'm following Reed Timmer live on fb. Hes in iowa atm. He will end up flying through your area by 6-8pm likely. Unless he heads south. All depends on where the shear and spin line up.

Sad I didnt buy a ticket last night. #pullthetriggerwussy
Rare PDS announcement. I am so mad at myself right now for not buying tickets to Des Moines last night. Ugh.

The ORA Red Planet on the frag rack has been glued to a square. Going to see if I can get a fat colony to sprout for sawing later.

Hope everyone had a good weekend.

Ok I think I’m first here, but let’s all congratulate Rich. Have you noticed any new ‘badges’

Oh and I hope you managed to clear up the 30g. That’s a lot of water Rich!

April fools flopped. No water spilled. Oh well, I tried.

Thanks Shaun. Pretty unexpected to be honest. I'll give it a go
