Soooooo where the pics of the doors dude? The DIY community awaits the results of your endeavors

Ya right... lol.

Here are the two organizer shelves I started with. They were original 12x12, I cut them right down the middle to lower the profile to a much cleaner 5.25"

... Since I have no income at the moment, I used the next best thing to cash. Home desperate plastic card. 0% for 12 months :)

All holes for wire pathing are cut out, and mounted. All my wires are routed and ready for clearance.

Control console is drying as well in the basement. It has to be done tonight.

So does DCF....... ;Hilarious ;Hilarious ;Hilarious

Due to regulations and policy, I cannot truely display my current mood towards the situation. That is all :)

Alright... it ain't pretty... YET.

DCF checks in at 10am.

The sump doors need to be mounted. Which requires drilling 1/8" steel supports. Too loud for 430am. Cabinet is 90% done. Return pump controller line needs to be re-routed, came up 3 inches short. (Innapropriate thought)

Also, my father left after helping me mount the cabinet and took off with my holesaw. So the last few sump-related power chords are awaiting a hole where the cabinet meets the tank. Then some tidying up and I will be happy.

My back is broken. Time for some whiskey and bed at sunrise. Feeling like @NY_Caveman on graveyard shift..

36hrs after given the task of getting all the chemicals and electronics locked up, and the sump enclosed, I am almost at my goal. 430am. 16hrs i have been at this...

So, how'd it go?
I hear its almost impossible to type in handcuffs joking but pretty sure true statement
More likely cpl scothes and catch up sleep

Wrists are soar, but not from cuffs. ;)

I slept till 1030, dcf came, and couldn't believe how much I got done in 2 days. Not where I want it yet but maybe this was what I needed to light a fire under my arze to keep going on the build.

All is well. Dad is back over helping me tie up loose ends. Sump doors are going on soon.

Door hardware ain't on yet. The 7 ply has warped slightly and the hinges are barely clearing. Have to put weight to hold the doors down. Not sure how to fix this issue. Cabinet and doors require true, straight lumber to come out proper. Maybe need to figure out a locking mechanism. Already tried ceramic magnets. Not strong enough.

Heres what I got tonight. Pretty happy with the lines sort of regretting having the controller cabinet up high. Its pulling away from the tank I feel.

Meh.

Not to shabby for the time crunch you were under. I agree the cabinet position isn’t ideal but at least ya got some breathing room to reboot it down the road. Two thumbs up for what ya got done

Appreciate it. I'm wiped. Physically, emotionally. It's been a race. But the finish line is fast approaching.

So due to the skimmer and return pump cords going from the units to the controller being ridiculously short... I am stuck with this. I am going to give bubble magus and orbit a call and see what they want for extension cables to help me route these lines how I would like.

I need about 24" more to run them perfectly hidden behind the top frame cross support.

Next up?

ATO...

DIY of course ;) with the help of this Tunze 3155 I havent even opened yet. LoL

Refugium is getting dirty :)

Making my own mud. Haha.

Once I get some macro I'll add a nano sicce voyager to it, for now I want it to pile up.
With your ocd cleaning compulsion don’t think it will ever get “dirty” as we less diligent scrubbers use the word lol
