All was going smooth, until I disassembled the skimmer. Found Murphy inside... I dont understand how it was working with the drive shaft in 3 pieces?

Pretty annoyed though, this is a brand new impellar assembly from BM N.A., about 6 weeks of use.

Ugh. Dude, make it stop!
Thats just irritating!
Cant find my old impellar assembly. So frustrated I prolly looked right over it in my "parts pile"

Other than that how’s it going?
This is the reason I don’t clean my glass real well. You clean stuff real good and it can break....
Everything is rinsed 2x, and well, fine. I didnt scrub it, it was already broken when I pulled the housing off. Just slid it out, and it arrive in 3 pieces. How could it break inside the shaft housing like that? 3 pieces? I didnt tug or pull, wasnt stuck, just came out in pieces. I dont get it.

Lobophyllia looks awesome! I do not think mine will make it, but he is still alive for now. Not tossing him at all. I have seen some miraculous comebacks in my time.

Thanks. And yea, for sure. Hang tight with the Lobo. Keep the nasties off it and it doesnt care what the tank looks like...

How have your tests been showing?

Been a while since I tested. Nutrients are always low. I did check Ammonia a couple of times during the die off of the CUC. Nothing. Salinity is stable now. Temp swings in the heat a couple of degrees. Not enough coral to worry about the big 3 right now.
