Pinwheel failure again.. my bic spacer got worn down fast lol... Lost my bubbles.

Got it ripped apart and making another spacer out if a pen. Haha. A new motor and pinwheel ui upgrade is like 60 bucks. I'll make it on my own till I get back to work.

Called seaside aquatics (they handle N.A. support for BM) and spoke to Brian...

Got a new complete impellar assembly for my ATMAN PH2500 skimmer pump. Shipped, for 26 bucks. Score.

I also found the Midas Blenny. Still stressed as can be sadly. But hes breathing and aware. Trying to leave him alone as best I can.

And I MAY or may not have rescaped the entire left side of the tank while drinking wine last night.

So I did a thing today... or many things..

Went to see a buddy from high school who also has fallen illl with AAA (Acute Aquaria Addiction)

So that, led to this...

Which led to this:

But before I did all this, I went to the LFS to swap some Mexican turbos which had reached 8ball size, and ended up coming home with 4 of these...

Squam Anthias. All female, 1 slightly larger with hopes it will go Male once it's in the DT.

2 days till KoR... had to fill up first with my local connections before I go down to a Hole-in-the-wallet Reef expo.

The QT is looking alive. 2 anthias are out with the fire fish for some spirulina brine.

The other 2 are hiding in the mountain piece on the right. It's a perfect QT peice. The center is hollow and there is about 8 of those little "archer windows" if u will, 360° around it. They love it. Safe spot for the harem to find safety in together. I really cannot wait for this 30 days to end. They are gonna bring so much life to my tank.

Great thread!

Wow, flattered u stopped by rev. Thank you so much for making this site possible. I would have quit and lost thousands without the support I get from the community you built.

Cheers

Photo dump?

The bubbles seem to die off throughout the day. This was just now, under 6% whites.

Sunset ramp down.

The Davinci is a Diva. Showing off her sleeping quarters. (12" from the BTA);Shifty

All I can hear is her going "Taaadaaaa"

The zebra sailfin, yellow, and fox are a troop now. They prowl the rocks and eat together.

20190503_211236.jpg

The CB Shrimp's Antennae stretch over half the depth of the tank now. Hes tough to catch a good pic of.

The chaeto is melting, slowly. Prolly the vibrant. I decided to do another half dose again as I saw some green spots forming. Blew them off changed socks, and wiped down the viewing side of the fuge.

20190503_224614.jpg

Getting there...

Cant decide if I wanna do like ceramic tile, bare bottom, coarse sand or crushed coral? Yarrrrrrg.

The girlfriend came home yesterday and asked if we could look through macro for the fuge and order some. That was pretty cool.
