That's the Tyree Robukaki Chalice.

It appears to be headed south as u can see from my last post. It was healthy as an ox when it went in. Idk...
It may be receiving too much light or flow, they like low flow and low light also. I agree cleaning the plug should be the first thing to do. I hope it comes back.

Nice, looking at how healthy that top eye is there has to be a reason we can find. :)
It will come back.
Fingers crossed.

It's at the same flow as the acans next to it. I have moved it 3 times. I can put it in the sand, I dont trust my inverts to leave it be. Might be an acclimation box job.

I'll give it an iodine bath quickly and move it after I've cleaned up from work.

Pics soon simon.

Here is the YR Solar Flare chalice. It literally sits one plug closer to the hydras. Same exact conditions. Just the opposite results.

This hobby and its branches on the evolutionary tree of life are crooked and chaotic. At best.

I can't find it..... :(

I don't remember where I saw it either. It was years ago. They had a crab in a small tank and they dropped in a bunch of small pieces of different colored ribbon into the tank and he went to town. It looked crazy. I did find one that the used small pom poms and they covered themselves in it....
