Was a pleasure. John @thejuice24 just left a while ago, said his goodbyes. Heh... afraid thatll be it for the last round of viewing visits... unless i get surprised tomorrow. Meh... just another reef in the books really. Next one will be epic...

Thanks for the friendship and comradery ray. Its been great to get to know u, kathy, and the pack. Much more important than the hobby itself, the people u meet along the way are the icing on the cake.

Thats a succulent thats flowering. I thought hens and chicks were short leaving green plants thats spread out laterally and never get over 5" high.

Maybe my mom is wrong, but i dare not argue w the boss.

Heres a closeup of the one u circled. She started it with one head, about 3" across. Now its got 6 heads and this flowering chute reaching up...

Hens & chicks are succulents, that's a bloom stalk they produce. The Hens & chicks comes from the fact you start with one head (hen) and you end up with a bunch of separate baby heads (chicks) around the original. Not uncommon for them to die off after a hard bloom.

Wwc bizarro cyphastrea starting to take off. Started with 5 heads, up to 9 in a months or so. Wish i could watch this puppy grow out.

Rich, It's a shame to see the reef you've worked so hard to see flourish come down. But heres to a couple years of hard learning and a future awesome build!

It's been great tagging along and seeing what you have done in the same time frame It's taken me to get my tank wet Hope to see a new epic build soon! Colorado isn't too far from my neck of the woods, maybe I'll stop by sometime.

Just got a fresh coat of black around the doors and trim. Gonna do a finish coat later.

About an hour ago got the call i was waiting for. The LFS owner will be here between 10 and 11am with cash in hand. He did say that they had a little diatom issue last week they are handling so hes going to put a deposit down and likely come get everything in a few weeks.

So there may be time for a few friends to come see it one last time if they choose to. Wish everyone was closer.

Well, a crashed returned pump in a shark tank caused today to be rescheduled. He gave me a fat deposit though. So maybe l can actually count some chickens now. His help goes on vacation this week, and i agreed with him that he should wait for his coral expert to be present durring this move. Too much at risk. And i dont wanna see 2 years of dedication die in a month at an LFS.

So perhaps 3rd week in july will be the new release date for the system. We shall see... im patient with the sale process. Thats why i started the entire ordeal 8 months before i move.

Maybe i can squeeze a visit from a few friends before rags2riches comes down for good.
