One of my rbta's decided to go for a walk... right across the JF Jackolantern Lepto, and then expand out right under my sticks..

Luckily, the frags are not glued to the rock... into the qt it goes. Its been 10 mins of it hanging on to the rock so far. But its slowly dropping down.

Welp,
That's how I lost 99% of my largest Acropora colony... ;Blackeye

Rich,
How are things going your way?

I love the thought of having a nem, however I don't like the thought that it's almost like having a ticking time bomb in your tank and it's just a matter of time before it goes for a walk and wipes out half your coral ;Bored

Things have been great freddie. Thanks for asking. Being back to work feels better than anticipated. I like routine. Coronacation is over and the reef is sold, got $1k deposit sitting in my paypal. Itll be gone in less than 2 weeks as long as murphy doesnt come knocking.

He may take some, or he may take it all. Stand and tank included. We shall see how many chickens hatch before i start counting :)

Yea, my love for the clown pair and the nems will force my hand into a nem nano in the future. The reef dt will never see another.

I might have to go this route as well, there is a nice spot between the two windows on the other side of my tank I can squeeze in a Nuvo 20 or maybe a custom 30 and plumb that into my main system, hummm ;Bookworm;Bookworm;Bookworm;Writing;Writing;Writing

Are you still heading out west?

Is your gal staying put or did she change her mind?

I'm of a different opinion, I think a sump is the best thing going for a "Nano" tank. But that's just me

I'd like the Red Sea Nano "Reefer", just to get the sump... :D

I'm a huge fan of the Innovative Marine line of EXT tanks, I really like that they don't come with a sump and you can choose your own sump to suit your particular needs. I do also like there AIO's but a sump just adds SOOOOO much flexibility, ESPECIALLY if you're planning to upgrade in the future.

looking great rich! that BTA lol.

AIO's are the way to go for smaller tanks. Make it softie and LPS dominated and just enjoy your little reef. Glad you found a seller and have the deposit taken care of.
Hey man, hope things are well in the 40!

If i was going to do a heavily stocked nano, the increase in water volume to aid with parameter swings would be a no brainer. Sump all the way, and likely larger than the display itself.

But if its softies and nems, with clowns and a blenny or something, then aio is the route id take.
