Well like the title says rate These zoas...they don't have names... And yes I know the green ones are palys. Since they don't have names, #1 will be the 3 smaller orange ones on the Frage, #2 the green palys, and #3 the 2 re/green zoa's...which to get??

Nuclear green palythoas were pretty popular about 15 years ago, lots of people had colonies of them mixed with purple death palys. You can find plenty of pictures to get an idea of what they really look like. Then again, that was before LEDs so maybe that is what they look like under modern lighting.

Anyway, I vote #3. They look like when they grow out no two polyps will be the same, which I think would look more interesting.

Then instead of one why not get all three.
I might do that. I just bought a really expensive underwater camera and the housing box to go with it for taking diving pics so trying to save a little money where I can is the only thing holding me back.

The first ones are heartbreakers, similar to burning embers, same family as corazons, mindtricks, that's a plumb price I'd def grab those first.
I agree but then today i found these pieces for the same price...these pieces pop up a lot less often than cool zoas and palys...
The second Scoly isn't a showstopper but it looks fat and healthy and for the price I'd say it's pretty sweet! First two pics are actually under fairly high white light vs only blue as well.

Haha I love your threads like these. You always have access to fun corals where your are in Bangkok and cheap.

The salted agave ones, the last ones are cool. I'd avoid any palythoa grandis looking ones personally.

Lastly, just based on where you are and the access you have to corals that are gathered, I'd try to get ones that aren't really known to the hobby. I've picked up an oddball looking "no name" zoa from a local importer and I think those are more interesting.

I'd go for 1 and 3. The nuclear greens are easy to come by and look very drab under white light. I think 3 is what they are calling salted agave, which look great under any lighting. 1 probably looks drab under white but it's still probably interesting over all.

The platygyra/maze brain looking one would be my pick from the second batch.

That's what I try to do is get the lesser known or oddball corals since I have access to them at great prices most of the time! You never know what tomorrow will bring...if I came back to America there's a pretty slim chance of finding these 3 for the equivalent of about $15 each. Sometimes the reason I make threads like this isn't just to get others'opinions on which is most beautiful since that's completely subjective but to see if they're really common or not.
