Well worth the price. Not controllable but offers great blue shimmer

Looks like a great deal if its what I think it is

there are so many variations of these lights and i want some input so i don’t put money on something that is too behind. so i hope it’s what you think it is! lol

That’s their 10k fixed spectrum light. It’s going to be pretty white. Also likely
Very old as well.

ahhh!! so i bought it and i’m feeling like i wasted $80 and a 3 hour trip to pick it up for what you mentioned.... it’s very white and doesn’t have much blue shimmer! i’m thinking of using it for my freshwater tank but it’s such a small 8 gallon...

Its Not sky blue??
You can as many have place a tinted blue circle of glass over lens and obtain the Blue Hue (which I've done. I used silicone as if you go to resell, the silicone peels off easily.

I’m truly not trying to be funny - you could probably sell it for $80 and get the light that better fits your needs (either now or a few months from now).

lol this is also an option! gosh half of this hobby is spent buying and selling things it feels like....

i guess i’m just annoyed at the almost 3.5 hour round trip of driving to pick it up. Maybe i’ll list it for 100 to compensate for the gas and time too

Good idea! List for $100 and know that you have a few dollars to negotiate and then if it doesn’t sell for at least 80 then you have a nice light. Good luck!

You could save it for a refugium if you have one. I guess its not as blue as I thought that one was.
