Realistically: What tank would you get right now if you get a new one?

If you could get a different tank right now would you?

Assuming that I owned a home spacious enough to install a wishful thinking concept, I would settle for 1000 gallon Salt Reef.

That said, I am very happy with my 55 gallon high as my first attempt on a Reef build

When I was younger I kept wanting bigger and bigger SW/reef tanks. I started with a 40 gallon XH back in the 80s/90s. From there I went to a 100 gallon and there to a 125 or 150 (I can't remember) with a 70 gallon sump. What I learned from that is big is not always better. It means more maintenance and more money (the 2nd one exponentially, LOL)! I now have a 56 gallon column tank with a 30 gallon fuge/20 gallon sump in the basement. It is absolutely wonderful after having it almost 5 years and I have no plans of changing.

If I could get one off the self I would really like to try out a Cade. When the Christmas giveaway was going I truly liked the specs of the tanks and if I could choose one the Cade Reef 1800 S2 looks awesome.

I wish I could have an 8 footer tank but the wife is not solved with the idea. She just approved the 6 feet so I will be happy for now.

Would like to upgrade my Elos 120 to an Elos 160XL with Royal Exclusive Dreambox.
Seperate matching cabinet next to the tank for all the electrics. I would however, work out pricing and see what i could have custom made.
And then more than likely stick with the Elos :)
Will only happen if i move house though

I love my tank. If I were to "upgrade" it would just be to get a Peninsula style tank.

An example would be the Waterbox Peninsula. Use it to separate a room.

After my tank broke and flooded my apartment room I would love to just get something the same size I was so happy with how it was turning out it was so perfect but now I have so many things going on at home I have to be content with having everything I had in my 30g in my 10g for now who know when I will be able to get a big one again I would be happy with another 30 g but who knows when that will happen

I got a RSR750 just over a year ago. Just started putting a bunch of sticks in it. In a few years, I’d love to do a 400/500 gallon with a small fish room in the garage. We will see what I can get away with before the wife yells at me. Lol

I would love a 300DD if money was not the limiting factor. Would also got for a 180g or 220g tank.
