I'll be setting up a Deskmate 4.8G nano build within the next couple weeks.

Can anyone have provide a good suggestion for an ATO reservoir and controller that works well for a nano tank?

Only ATO I've ever used is the Avast Marine one, works great. Not too sure on a nano setup though.
I’ve got the same tank in my office with a hydros control 4 and ATO setup. I got a clear plastic tub from Lowe’s and cut a hole for the water line. I don’t think anything is leeching into the water from the plastic but I could be wrong.

You don't need a controller. Especially for such a small tank. There isn't anything in that size of a display that can't be managed or mitigated by a water change. If testing is required something simple like Hanna kits would be ideal.

Don't over complicate a nano of such size. Sit back and enjoy the ride.
