I have two of these lights over my 75 gallon tank. I was wondering if anyone else is using them and what settings your using. I'm set for what Current recommended but I don't know if they are the best settings.

Are these 2 small fixtures set end to end or 2 long fixtures running in parallel?

Are you, or do you intend to keep corals?

The Current orbit led fixtures use very weak leds (0.3 to 0.5 watts). They are perfect for fish only tanks of your size and even for use with coral in tanks that are shallow (12 to 16 inches deep). They do not penetrate 2 foot deep tanks very well. PAR levels below 50 are too weak. Look at their own website chart (below).

If you have the Dual IC Pro, the PAR ratings are higher than the ones for the orbit marine. See below, also from the current-usa website.

This is what I have. I recently rented a PAR meter and found these measurements to be fairly accurate. I'm just getting started with corals now, so I don't have enough experience to give you a hands on review. Based on what I intend to put in the tank and the suggested PAR for those species, I believe the duals will work.

I guess I'll see!

I have the dual bars over the entire tank. I actually had to take one of my corals and move it to the bottom of the tank because it stopped growing. I now have another coral up top that looks like it has a white calcium layer over it and doesn't come out anymore. It's glued into place so I'm not sure what or why it did that, but I thought about lowering it and seeing what happens.

Do you have a recommendation on what lights you would use? I'm building a 120 and it will be about 30 inches from the bar to the bottom of the tank.

Yes I have the dual and it seemed to perk my corals up (I started with a single bar) but I'm still learning with the corals. I think you will be happy with the lights if you are researching the corals before you get them. I just got a little rambunctious and started learning after. Definitely not the way to go, but I seem to do that a lot lol.

Sounds like the one on top may be bleached.

My tank is a 125 and I have the 72" dual IC pro on it. Some feel this light is not powerful enough for some corals. It wasn't cheap, but it was less expensive than many of the other brands recommended by others.
I've been pleased with the intensity and with the control panel that came with it and the sump return pump and the two wave pumps I have.
Of course, I don't have a way to make a direct comparison to other brands.

Mine is set 1-1/2 " above the rim of the tank. The bottom of the tank is 21" below the top, or 22-1/2" below the light.
Currently I have W=90, B=100, G=100, R=100. I have experimented with lower white and green settings so the actinic blue will be more noticeable. I am using the ramp-up, ramp-down settings recommended by Current.

I have a 55gallon with 2 48" Orbit LED IC Lightbars sitting above the tank...I have 2 Nems and 1 Soft Finger Leather Coral that absolutely love these lights. I have the daylight set to 100% Blue and 75% Red, Green and White...for sunset and sunrise, I have them set at 75% Blue and only 25% for the other 3 then for the moonlight I have it at 5% Blue. My tank mates seem to be happy even though I will say I get alot of Algae growth, which I have to manually deal with every 4-7 days. I am new to these lights as well, but so far so good...lol
Here's a couple pics...
One pics shows how the coral looked when I first put into the tank and it acquired some algae..but I removed the algae from the coral and the entire tank to see it start to blossom and growing new limbs now as well. They're happy,I'm happy
