Thanks for the response. It looks very much like the Nemastoma. The link helps. I didn't know if it would be a problem in my tank. It seems to be growing better than my chaeto algae.Probably Scinaia sp., Nemastoma sp., or Halymenia elongata. These are rare, gelatinous algae that are palatable to herbivores. Nice find!

I just listed all three algae since it’s likely that they are all being confused with one another in the hobby (in particular, I think the elongated forms of Nemastoma might actually be a species of Scinaia like this).Thanks for the response.
