I just stuck a bunch of red ogo into a FOWLR tank, that is sitting in from of a north facing window (so, no direct sunlight, but a nice bright spot). I am debating getting a small grow light for it - I have no need for it to go nuts, I just don't want it to die. Will the light from the window be enough, or do I need to put a light on the tank?

Thanks!

Here you go - this is late afternoon, but still quite bright.

It's my current quarantine tank, which it why it looks like crap, but I am going to shortly be adding sand/rock.

I think a supplemental grow light would be a fantastic idea but maybe one with more of a red spectrum instead would be more beneficial ;Shamefullyembarrased
