Been a member for a bit and just getting around to a build thread. Started with a 45 gallon AOI and finally upgrading. When I first started I added a Yellow Tang as a utilitarian fish to the 45 and he/she is getting a little too big for it. That means I *had* to upgrade, right? Nothing to do with me just wanting a bigger tank. I've never had a sump so I preferred turn key, or close to it, and I was also more concerned with width than depth. The Red Sea 525 XL fit the bill, so ordered one and it gets here this week woooo. Beyond excited!

Equipment:
2x AI Prime 16s (from old tank)
1x AI Hydra 32
AI Prime Fuge Light
eflux - 1900 DC Return Pump
1x AI Nero 5 Pump (Enough?)
Red Sea Protein Skimmer RSK-600
Life Rock Shelf Rock - 40 lbs
Life Rock Normal Rock - 20 lbs
Life Rock 24" Arch - About 20 lbs
Marine Pure 8x8 Plate

Livestock:
1x Tang
2x Clowns
1x Filefish
1x Firefish
1x Watchman Goby/Pistol Shrimp

Corals:
3 BTAs that my clowns refuse to host

Would definitely appreciate any feedback or ideas.

Thanks,
Jason
