Hey all, hope all is doing ok...I have a request...i recently switched from my 2 Ai 52s to Reef90s...about 3 weeks now. The question I have is, does anyone have some recommended programming settings? I have used one of the pre-settings and modified it alittle...They look good in my house, however when taking photos/videos....it is extremely blue/purple...what are your suggestions/recommendations overall? I have an Ai 26 added to my current 120 mixed Reef setup. (2 Reef 90 and 1 Ai 26)...Recording using the Samsung S20 Ultra

equal blue/ white channel is 15k , 1/2 white to blue is 20k, 1/4 white to blue is 23k. 1/2 blue to white is 12k , 1/4 blue to white is 10k , all white is 8k ..... all blue is 25k + hope this helps , best lights ever made right there enjoy !!! Also use cloud cover for the WHOLE photo period will emulate the proper DRI fluxuation. ... as for a 4' 120 withthose corals i see in the pic , I would run 100% on blue and 50% on white, for 5 hours, then drop into 50% blue with 10% white for the last 5 hours with ramp up and down, and single layer cloud for the whole 10 hours. Then use acclimation mode for 60 day increase starting at 60% intensity .

Your going to need a filter I use the polyplabs v2 and get better pics under these than anything. Actually better growth , color, health , and they look the best to my eyes from our view. If you have the orange glasses use those as a filter like i think he other guy mentioned but you can get insane results from these. Also make sure your in pro (manual mode ) iso 100 , white balance 6500k cloudy and the best is when thye are below 50% blue best is like 28% blue only for insane pic taking , the PUR is insane and will washout most CCDs

Thanks for the detailed description...I actually implemented your programming suggestions and made the purchase last-night from Saltwater Aquarium for the coral View Lens v2.

If your phone's camera app supports manual mode try adjusting the white balance to 7400-7500k. This can help lessen the overpowering blue in auto mode.

These are better than before with that recommendation...i did purchase the coral lab filter...will see when it gets here on Wednesday, the difference.

Glad it's helping. The heavy blue color and lack of red with the RedSea 90 makes it hard to get really colorful shots.

When you get the filter, you will need to back off on the white balance to get it to look right. But at least for now this should allow some halfway decent shots

Being too blue was one of the main reasons I did not purchase the Red Sea 90 lights and went with the new Hydra 32s. Also wanted a bit more control. My Samsung S8 camera has a Pro mode that lets you adjust exposure and white balance, works pretty well your S20 may have it as well. You can also get an orange gel filter like the one from Polyp Lab. Also plenty of photo editors in the app store. You can also make a custom light setting for just taking photos and set it back to your perfered settings after you are done.

I set our Reef LED 90 to the 20k, dropped the blues to 65% and bumped the white to 8%. Looks good now.

Yeah...I am missing my Ai's already; especially when it comes to taking photos....still trying to work with the S20 Ultra and this photo filter....really not that impressed (as of today)

Did you go under your phones camera settings and change it to pro, then change your WB to 10k? I have the same phone and use that to take pics.

No I haven't, do you have some sample photos of your tank with those settings?
