I understand that, i tried getting into politics but I stayed angry to much. Theres no good way to lose friends but violence is exceptionally awful. But know that a lot of people like me really appreciate the sacrifice you and all soldiers have made so that i/we all may have the freedom to build aquariums, and/or whatever else we so desire. 1997 i joined the army but they said basically that i was to fat so they didn't accept me. Since we decided to get the aquarium, i feel like my blood pressure has dropped substantially. I had heard that it was a very relaxing lifestyle. I've stopped watching political news and focused all my efforts on this tank.
I’ve found since keeping my reef I have no more interest in paying attention to the news and world events that I have absolutely no control of.
My wife is extremely happy with this because she has noticed a tremendous improvement of my mood and she is very happy with it.
Happy wife happy life

You are absolutely right!! I'm so much more calm now and we don't even have substrate yet!

Great tank.

With regard to the pistol shrimp, the shrimp doesn't burrow so much that water clarity is compromised daily? The shrimp doesn't steal frags?

I have been considering one for my tank, I have had them before, but the shrimp and the ywm wreaked hell on the tanks sandbed. Unfortunately the shrimp was a victim to the use of interceptor.

Sorry, I should have clarified. The shrimp is a candy cane pistol shrimp, (Alpheus randalli).
Thank you for the compliment!
Sorry for your loss too.

A manadarin is definitely on my short list once I start adding livestock.
I hope he does well, He seemed healthy.
He disappeared shortly after releasing him and haven’t seen him since.
I’ll be up early in the morning looking for him.

Do you still live in Alaska?
When my wife retires next year it’s first in our trip list.

These new A8s are pretty impressive and make the corals pop on a whole different level.
Something the Kessil could never do.
