Both red handle ball valves on my s-650 are leaking in the open position at the handle. It’s a small drip into the sump but I would like to replace them. I’ve determined that the pipe size is 25mm schedule 80 but have not been able to locate the correct valve so that the unions align and I can just swap valves. Red Sea will not sell the valve only (which is absurd) and are suggesting I buy a new pipe assembly for $135 when all I need is a $25 valve.

Has anyone found an adequate replacement? Very much appreciate your thoughts.

I have the same issues with my S400! I also looked into it and refuse to pay $120 for the assembly.
However, I am not sure if there are enough pipe for valves replacement since everything is so closed to each other.

Agreed. I have just enough pipe to replace the valve to the chiller compartment but not the skimmer feed (which I’m not using anyway). There has got to be a replacement valve available that can be retrofit. I’m headed to a plumbing supply tomorrow.
