Purchased an existing tank and imported the light schedule they were using. Seeking information on if this is good, bad and what I should change it to. Red Sea Reefer 170 with single mounted Ai prime 16HD. If you need more information let me know, I appreciate any feedback.

1 light should do fine for softies, LPS and few SPS on top. However 8” is too close to the waterline. Ideal mounting height for 16HD is around 13”. If lower, it will create hotspots in the middle and not enough light on the sides.

How is everyone mounting the AI prime 16hd?

I have the max nano and would like to keep the stock protein skimmer, the pump controls, and the ATO. The tank mount doesn’t fit nor is it symmetrically in the middle.

it seems as though RedSea doesn’t sell an adaptive bracket. Looking for insight/ideas.
