Nice set up. I am kicking around trying my next tank on the triton method also.

I have a 10 gallon innovative marine that I use to QT new fish and corals. My DT is a nano cube 28 gallon tank with rapid LED's in the hood. I have had them set up for three years now so I don't have a build thread on them. I have a 75 gallon tank that I had to take down due to lack of space for it, but I am thinking of setting it back up after our home remodel is complete this winter. I am also a farmer and a rancher and I can relate to how difficult it can be reefing in a rural area.

LOL you know what it's like then. We have two LFS that have reef stuff. One's 100 miles away and the other's 170 miles away.

Yep. My nearest reef shop is 2 hours away. Luckily they have an awesome coral selection.

After removing all the sand and eggcrate that was caked on the bottom I scraped all the inside surfaces with a razor glass scraper.

@ranchhand02, @tenurepro has the same setup on lights that I'll have. He's getting great results with SPS with his three XR15's. I don't know which generation he has but all mine will be Gen4. The third Radion greatly reduces shadowing on a reefer 250 especially when paired with Ecotech diffusers. tenurepro has several videos on his build thread about the Radions. He has a RSR 250 too.

Bought a Fluval Marine 3.0 LED for 36"-48" and it arrived just today. I'll use it while I'm in the fish only mode before I start getting corals. I'll have 3 Radion XR15's over it later. Haven't bought them yet but will use this light until then and for back up in case my Apex goes down or Ecotech EcoSmart Live goes down too.
