@Fudsey you are correct about ich being airborne although just through water droplets. The individuals are 12-15 microns in length. Too big to be airborne without a water droplet. Yes a recent BRS video about quarantining said that tanks should be distant from each other. Maybe I'll just have one QT since I cannot fit another stand into my fish room.Make sure you look into ick becoming airborn. Something about QTs being like 10-12 feet apart from other systems. Not sure about it though.
I checked several sources and they are recommended for as small as 10 gallons. That’s the volume of my frag/QT. I will have wall to wall eggcrate in the tank for frags so that fish can swim below the frag rack for shelter and then above when it’s feeding brave.Pink streaks are beautiful fish. Shy but beautiful
And insert this fan with control unit right through the front door of cabinet.I have the doors off my RS250 stand for now. First pic: glass cabinet door for the water change & mixing station from Cronos Door shipped across the country.

Thinking about custom designed and built doors for the RS250. Using aluminum mosaic sheet metal (below) with Apex orange acrylic as a backdrop.
I reinforced the bottom of the stand with a 2x6 and screws where the cam-locks didn’t pull together. When I had it set up the first time, the tank leaned forward and it showed with the water’s surface. The water’s surface looked much higher in the front. However the floor was quite weak and it’s level could have given way. After draining the tank I took the whole stand apart about two years ago. When putting back together I used my trusty rubber mallet and was careful to avoid jammed locks. I think the panel(s) are warped.
There is a gap between two panels and the cam-lock and dowel on the very bottom of the right front corner are showing. The separation here scares me. I tried tightening it by turning the cam with a philips screwdriver but it didn’t pull things together.
Thinking of putting a triangle piece of wood inside the corner where the red markup is. Then taking those big C-clamp like tighteners used for glueing wood to hold things tight, then screwing in the wooden triangle.
