Hi everyone,

Are there any differences to consider when looking at the geography of Red Sea Sailfin Tangs? I see that they can come from different locations (Maldives/Sri Lanka or Africa).

Thanks for any and all input!

I assume you are talking about Zebrasoma desjardini? If so I do not believe there is any difference in coloration or markings with regards to their collection location.

I’ve not noticed a difference, but true Red Sea fish are often hardier due to good (alleged) collection practices.
