Does anyone here in Redding have any experience with running their tanks without a skimmer. I have three tanks and the Biocube doesn't have a skimmer. I feel like my corals do the best in that tank even though I do the least amount of maintenance to that tank. The only think I do differently to that tank is that it does not have a skimmer on it. Could this be a reason for the coral doing better? My other tanks are relatively large and heavily stocked so I do not know if I want to attempt running them without a skimmer.

It all depends on the nutrient export and management not all system requires one and its all about preference
