Reef glass skimmer in an Evo 13.5

Thinking of getting a reef glass skimmer to put in chamber 2 of my Evo 13.5. Anyone use this skimmer in their Evo? Curious to hear any feedback. I am running an intank media basket in chamber 1.

Not only that but you also need a $33 air pump to run it. My tank is about 2.5 months old. Been battling diatoms, hair algae and now cyano. Trying to diagnose and treat without adding any chemicals. So was thinking of either adding a skimmer or UV. Not sure if it was the RODI water was getting from LFS so I ordered an RODI unit. I also noticed it after I started using reef roids so I stopped that as well.

Yeah I have no idea how well that one works but it’s getting into the same price range as decent ones like the aquamaxx hobs.
