Roti-Feast, Arcti-Pods or Oyster-Feast for the chalice. I find my chalices like smaller particulate feeds rather then large chunks. Roti-Feast is probably the best but since there are no broken rotifers or cell leakage, the feeding response is less then the other two products. This is something we are currently working on resolving and should have a new improved Roti-Feast early next year.

So you use these to feed your SPS... do any of these work for LPS, and fish?

Sorry, I'm a newb about this stuff. I'm used to feeding my LPS shrimp.

Reef Nutrition has contacted R2R about sponsorship. Hopefully they will sign on! If you know them put in the good word for R2R.

I wish we had reef nutrition around here. :(

@ which store? Doesn't PP sell it? Give me names, I'll drive out and give them samples and any info they need :)

Your closer to us then most Reef2Reefers :) We're just over in Campbell.

Phyto-Feast (not really for corals, more so for zooplankton and filter feeders although some softies will eat it), Oyster-Feast, Roti-Feast and Arcti-Pods will feed corals.

Arcti-Pods, Macro-Feast and Fuzzy-Phytes will feed your fish. Roti-Feast will feed smaller fish, like Chromis and small anthias.

Tigger-Pods will be eaten by coral, zooplankton and fish.

@Urchin, I never turn my skimmer off when feeding. The HUFA's in the coral feeds will knock the head down in the skimmer for an hour or so. It's hard on the impellar to start and stop it all the time IME/IMO.

I agree with gresham. I have never turned off my skimmer. I use all reef nutrition to feed all my corals.

Today at the SCMAS meeting (reefapalooza organizers) they were raffling off reef nutrition product. I was bummed I didnt win. Maybe next time. I know there is a lil bit more product lying around.

Should be fine. Just keep tabs on the smell and if it deviates, toss it. I've done that numerous times as well and never really had much of an issue.

Yah, we ship out of 1 location to all our dealers. We self distribute to ensure the highest quality product with the longest shelf life gets to the end user :)

Wish I would have seen this. I'll be over at The Aquarium Showroom in San Jose talking with Max about the next BAYMAC and giving him the design for my new office 150g reef stand/canopy.

Email or PM me.
