What about that I drive it via pwm led? And use 9065 driver and connct it on led pins. Would this work? And use 0 or 100 like on off? Just guesing hire..someone did mention this to me on main threat.. but now I have to figure it out...if this would work.

Hi me again, about ato wireing..now I have one optical and one flow sensor.. if optical fails water rises to float sensor and shuts off pump.
On reef pi ato we have 2 ato connections. Do I wire them both or do I wire float between signal of optical sensor so if optical fails, float shuts off signal and pump shuts off? Why then there are 2 float connections?

Nevermind.. I will use both optical one for low and one for high and set time for pump that if fails pump will shut down.

Adding another 8 channel relay on the ULN input should work fine. Mine is set up in that way. That port will just require connecting a voltage source to the 12v power port (5v or 12v works depending on what the relay board needs).

That sounds like a good plan for your ATO.

In my case, I am using the 2 ATO sensors for different reasons. One ATO is for sensing water level in the sump. My other ATO sensor is in my top off reservior to notify me when my top off is getting low.

.. yes I totally forgot about rodi reservoir sensor, I also have it.. do you maybe know if this would somehow be able to hook to pi?
I have it for 2 years now and works great, I also have tunze nano ato for backup, but I never used it, its still sealed

That looks like a totally stand alone product. I don't see a good way to integrate it with reef-pi.

Yes I figured. Now I am printing case, 16hours 7 more and then lid and logo.. and then case for eu plugs and relayboard, I will draw it, there is no eu plug cases available..

Again problem.. relay is on no matter sensor possition , if I reverse ph or equpment is off but wont turn on. If I manually turn it off stays on..if I reverse ph , light on relay is blinking slowly..

I have also tried with same sensor wich is connected to my sump.. this one is 100% working but same thing..so looks like I am missing something.. and also if I disconnect it I dont get any errors or logs, like it doesnt exist.

Some progress for now.. I couldnt find anything why optical sensor doesnt work.

Also if I connect relay board to external power supplay relays wont work so this means I need to have power from hat? Db9 doesnt have enaugh cables for that..
I also tried float sensor and float sensor works ok. It does power up relay.

Power2 was designed to work with ADJ SRP8 power strip, which requires 12v to switch. It depends on relay board, but if it's the same kind you are on using on Power1, then it probably just needs 5v provided on the 12vPower port to make the relay board with with Power2 port.

Do you know why my sensor wont work. Do I need to put resistors on signal and 5v pin?

Pi is alive on 3.0 beta, so planing to geting rid of milwakee ph control for ca reactor and adding it to pi.. also I need to change power jacks for 12 and 5v.. now I have same plugs for ato and power not good if someone else plugs 12 to 5v, on 3.0 if I calibrate temp sensor it doesnt hold that number.. its off for 2C..

When you say the temp calibration does not work, can you elaborate what you are seeing and what you were expecting instead? screen shot of the UI/configuration will be helpful. Temp calibration supposed to fix this issue, and if thats not happening, I should looking into it
