The jist is that the manufacturer wanted to raise prices on the LumenTek series and Rick said NO GO! As he would then have to pass those prices on to his customers. GOOOO Rick :)

Well that is good then! I cannot wait to get the 240 setup over the new tank. I hope it covers the 150 at 48x24x30

I have the 240 on my 75 and I wish I would have gotten 2 seperate lights. IMO it is not enough to cover a 4' tank.

That's kind of the gist I'm getting. It covered almost all of my 55 but the the corners were a little dim. I know it will do the width. Rick assures me it will cover it if hung high enough.

I need to try raising mine, but need to modify my canopy and just haven't had time to. Even then I'm not 100% convinced it would, but I'm no expert this is my 1st led light.

Right me as well. I mean I know it has the intensity to go higher I mean I had mine only 8-10" off the water but I may go double that and see

Ha whoops I didn't even mean to do that! It's ok though I have tons of errors but most people get the "gist" [emoji16]

Very nice. It's huge, you would think that would be enough for a 55. Maybe the lenses could spread more light, have you tried looking into maybe getting different lense

Yes it is. See over my 55 it was just enough to cover the width and it put out way more light through the walls of the tank so I am thinking it will light up that 150 well. If anything I could do a t5 bulb on front and back to make up for it. Hmm decisions
