I am planning a stand build for my 90 that will have more space below for a bigger sump and an equipment cabinet, can I see some ways reef ready owners have done this, or ideas to help? I need to make sure the braces are not in the way of the plumbing that will come thru the top of the stand, for my 90 now, or the 180 in the future- essentially this will be built for a 180 that will house my 90 until I upgrade.

I have minimal power tools for the job, plan to use a combo of 2x4 and 2x6 and then finish the outside w a better grade plywood.

I would look up the king of diy on YouTube Joey has some amazing tank stand builds when I made my stand for my 75 a few years back I used his tank stand design and it worked perfectly I had plenty of space to put a custom 40 breeder sump under it with some space for supplies

I’m more so looking to see how the side braces go, for my internal overflow to be plumbed thru the bottom of the tank thru the top of the stand; I’m worried the plumbing will sit where key braces lay and I don’t know how to give support while also giving space.

Didn’t think I still had this photo this is from my 75 gallon tank about 3 years ago that’s a 40 gallon breeder and there about 8”x22”x26” storage space on both sides of the sump I installed a door on each side of the stand and my front was held on by 4 kitchen cupboard magnets

I watched, very informative but didn’t answer what I need, I circled what I’m asking about my plumbing comes underneath the tank in the circled area.
