Curious to see what everyone’s corals prefer. We alternate food for both our fish and corals as who the heck wants the same thing all the time? LOL

I have found that I get more extension from reef roids, but more actual feeding from coral frenzy. What do your corals like? Prefer?

We have a 125g mixed reef with 30g sump and a 120g aggressive with a few softies.

I do both. Either alternating or sometimes mixing. I dont know which they prefer so covering all my based with like 6 different brands.
Yeah, we offer all the things, got more food for fish and corals than humans . I figure a good mix could never hurt, right? LOL

Is your phosphate level low or within your traget range? ---> reef roids

Is your phosphate higher than you want?
---->frenzy

I feed roids on and off depending on how my phosphates look
Interesting take, maybe I’ll start monitoring it that way instead of mixing it up with whatever I feel like.

Firmly believe they should get live plankton on the holidays. The freeze dried offerings must taste like Cheerio's to our corals?

I spot feed reef roids to my sand sifting star. use a turkey baster to "inject" it under it. Seem to get a feeding response and it's growing so must be helping.

Neither.

My corals and all corals prefer fish poop.

Everyone feeds these powdered coral foods, and then complain they have nutrient issues. Not hard to figure out why.
