I'm a sucker for tangs. Always have been and always will be. But we are limited in how many and what types we house in our reefs by tanks sizes, other inhabitants etc. But that won't keep us from talking about them today! :)

1. How many tangs (surgeonfish) do you have in your reef tank now?

2. What tangs do you have and if you're comfortable with it tell us what size tank you have?

Unfortunately I have none. Had a powder brown a couple of years ago and really like it, used to do laps around the tank after eating and during different flow modes of powerheads. I added a foxface and it turned into a WWE match both were scarred badly from each other and had to seperate them. After that I added a Harlequin Tusk which came with velvet and wiped out entire tank. Currently I have a Foxface in one tank and a Bi-colored rabbitfish in the other and as much as I'ld like to add another tang, I don't want to risk another "Battle Royal"

Tang overload chez moi also .....

All singles in a 700 gallons system (450 main display). Five zebrasoma (yellow, purple, desjardini sailfin, gem and longnose black), two naso (spotted and vlamingi), one bristle, one hepatus, and three acanthurus (zebra, achilles and convict). So .... 12 total.

Here's a recent video .... the tangs show up eventually.

I love tangs myself but unfortunately I only have a 56 gallon display. I should not have any tangs but I do have a small bristletooth tomini to help with nuisance algae. Tommy is a picture of health and appears well adjusted.

you set a bounty on your own head
I know. Did I mention at least 4240 miles as well and that’s from the east coast!! Lol

Thats about 5478 miles from you. You might need a good acclimatisation box and heat pads. Oh and to get past the UK border force with all those fish!! Lol
