Hello Reef2Reef'ers!

Let me preface this post by saying that your tank doesn't have to be packed full of mature sps coral colonies and have the best gear to be included, or even have coral at all (FOWLR are welcome!). But we will need a decent photo. :)

We want to start a new series of threads where we feature a Reef Tank from one of our members. It will be a simple bit of info and photo of your tank with link to your build thread. If you're interested then please share a full tank shot that you're proud of along with the following data.

  • Full Photo
  • Tank Size
  • Date Started
  • Link to R2R build thread
All of these are required or your tank cannot be featured.

And that's it!

If we use your tank then your tank will receive recognition and you will receive a spiffy new "Reef Tank 365" badge under your name!
And don't forget to subscribe to the hashtag #ReefTank365 to view the pick of the day.

This tank is a 90g tank and it’s been going on 5 years on August 22, 2015. Before that I had a 37g tank that the center brace broke and I found the 90g tank for really cheap. It’s connected now to my 80g frag tank in my other room with a trigger 39 sump. Both tanks are t5 lighting 6 bulb on the 90, 8 bulb on the 80. The connecting the 80 to my main tank was my COVID project and you can see this in my reef build. These are the two tanks with a few apex controlled items. Lights go on when doors open. The tank is controlled and monitored by an apex, trident, wxm, and 3 cameras one on each tank, and one more in the sump to monitor the the underneath of the frag tank. It’s a custom stand from a local guy who did an amazing job. If you want to know whom I’ll be more than glad to give you the number.
I also run an aquamaxx calcium reactor with reborn media on the tanks. Ph controlled and aqua tech regulator. Return pumps are cor 20 and vortech s1. One feeds the manifold while the other feeds both both tanks. Both have check valves for redundancy.

54 gallon corner bow front.
Picked it up from some guy moving in 2018.
Been running since spring of 2018. Had some medical and financial setbacks that made tank crash inbetween. Currently trying to bring it back to life.
It's stocked with a mixed assortment of corals.
2 black and white misbar clowns. Occelaris
1 tommini tang
A fat blue damsel.
2 rose anenome
Some cyphastrea, branching splatter hammer, red coralline algae. Bonsai acro, enchanted forest Birds nest. Eagle Eye, fire and ice, space queens, sonic flare zoas.
