Leather got irritated and no tentacles for this pic! I've gotten this award once, on another tank, so hope I can still enter.

125 gal/35 gal sump w/refugium
Started Dec 2017. Water in tank Feb 2018. 3rd times a charm reboot September 2020

Tank had a crash in 2018 after my mother passed. Painter used a strong primer on the walls of her bedroom (smoker). So strong I had a hard time breathing with door to her room shut and towels blocking under door! Lost most fish and corals in 2 tanks. 2019 was a recovery year for me as my mother had lived with us for 16 years, and an exciting year as we went to Croatia (and London and Rome) as my daughter did a destination wedding so tank neglected.

September 2020 starts the 3rd times a charm. Sand bed (super fine sand) replaced with medium grain, rocks scrubbed and rearranged, and new corals added to the few strong survivors! Also changed out the marine orbit pro lights for 3 Viperspectras. Just put in new coral frags. The corals are doing amazing!

Current Livestock
2 Yellow Tangs
Foxface
Flame Hawkfish
6 Staghorn Damsels (LA sent wrong fish! Not the yellow lemons I ordered but am stuck with)
Mandarian Goby
Barber Shop Goby/Pistol Shrimp Pair
2 Darwin Clowns (mean little beasties. I have bite wounds to prove it)
Yellow Tail Damsel
Coral Beauty (my pride & Joy)

Hello Reef2Reef'ers!

Let me preface this post by saying that your tank doesn't have to be packed full of mature sps coral colonies and have the best gear to be included, or even have coral at all (FOWLR are welcome!). But we will need a decent photo. :)

We want to start a new series of threads where we feature a Reef Tank from one of our members. It will be a simple bit of info and photo of your tank with link to your build thread. If you're interested then please share a full tank shot that you're proud of along with the following data.

  • Full Photo
  • Tank Size
  • Date Started
  • Link to R2R build thread
All of these are required or your tank cannot be featured.

And that's it!

If we use your tank then your tank will receive recognition and you will receive a spiffy new "Reef Tank 365" badge under your name!
And don't forget to subscribe to the hashtag #ReefTank365 to view the pick of the day.

So this is my current setup a 65 gallon tank with a 30 gallon sump. I’m very proud of my tank as it’s very young in reefing time (like a dogs age 7-1). It’s full of life and everything seems happy Over 30 coral mostly mushrooms and soft leathers for the safety of my seahorses,, all 30 of them are in there with 6 fish,,2 green cronies, purple tail firefish goby, blue devil damsel, and a scooter blenny

I'm sure it wont be selected which is ok with me I just wanted to show everyone how to live with bryopsis rather then trying to eliminate it everything in the tank in very healthy and growing fast eventually the top half will be coral while the bottom half is bryopisis which will give it a more natural look help it be more stable and will look nice with lots of swaying movement of been training it for a month now rather then trying to eliminate it and getting it to only grow in areas without coral and as the coral spreads training it farther and farther back untill one day it'll be as I want

I already added myself to this once but it never came through .

Just finishing up dry testing/prep then wet testing is next.

Fluval V, heavily modded.

I'll say the "start date" is Oct 2020
