I use AI 32 HD X2 on my 120. Place them in a cave or underhand. A shadowed position. Medium to low flow so they can catch food. Twice a week feedings. I have 4 very big clusters of them in 4 different positions. Biggest cluster has about 30 heads, smallest about 15. If they are well out of the light they will open all day long. If not only at night.

On the goose neck arms. 12" from the surface for light distribution. I run the Saxby schedule with some minor tweaks. So they come on and off according to my own schedule plus I added some moonlight in the evening.

OK WE HAVE WINNERS!

I want to start by saying thank you to all of you who participated. This was a super, and I mean a super, hard decision. So much so that I wish you all could win and because you couldn't I decided to give you all a new Reef Pumpkin Badge to keep for the year! Check your profile. :)

The mod team voted on the winner and while it was very hard we have a winner.

We have 2 winners. The first winner is the overall best winner and wins the $500 first prize. The second winner was generated by a random number generator from all the pumpkins entered and wins $100. Winners please PM me to claim!

1st Place Winner @MaxTremors

What!?!? I’ve never won anything in my life!!! Wow!!! There were so many great pumpkins, I feel like it could’ve went to a few different people. But I had a blast carving them, this was a really fun contest. Just….wow!?!?

Edit: just wanted to say I hope there’s another contest next year (or even if we all just carve pumpkins for the fun of it) because I’ve already got some ideas rolling around in my head, again this was just a really fun contest!
