I wanted to document my journey dealing with ReefBreeders! So far, the customer service I have received from Logan Vanghele has been amazing. I submitted payment last night for a custom build to supplement my AI Sol super blues that are currently running over my tank.

I ordered 3 24" heat sinks each with
5 RB
3 Violet
2 Red
2 Green

All dimmable on the same circuit through my apex and with optics as I have to mount them so high. The communication and perceived value at this point has been wonderful! Looking forward to seeing what this company can do! I was told to expect about 2 weeks for delivery. So I'll update the thread as more information becomes available and ultimately to show how my tank progresses as a result of this new addition to equipment!

Current FTS with only AI sols.

Be careful with your lead length, you may want to go back and try to keep the leads away from the stars in case things start arcing. I dont want you blowing out any LEDs!
scroll down about half way thru this page http://reefledlights.com/trouble-shooting/

t
o see how short to make your leads. Hope this helps!!!

Rick, the JBJ connectors will be protecting the electrodes, no wire will be un-insualted.

I have debated over the rb and number of violet. I decided to keep the rb to make sure it is there to mix with the red and green properly to help ensure no disco effect.

The violet... No idea how many I will need... So it is what it is!

The RB LEDs will add more to the spectrum in between the violet and the green LEDs, creating a much wider spectrum than it would without them, and adding a little more higher energy light to the lower energy reds and greens.

Does it matter with their already being 40 rb over my tank from the ai though?

I am not going to change again, just curious.

yes, it adds more pop to the blues without you having to turn up your AIs, and spreads the blue out a little more.

ALL DONE! I will ship tommorrow morning. These guys add some pop for sure, I held them over my tank temporarily, and they make corals glow!
