Hello,

I have a ReefBreeders Photon 50 v2+ along with one ReefBreeders Lumenbar (Hi Octaine) and one Sunblaster T5 fixture with an ATI Blue Plus bulb.
Both the Lumenbar and the T5 fixture are mounted to the Photon. The Photon is mounted to the tank using the mounting legs.

I am thinking of replacing the T5 with a ReefBrite XHO actinic light.

How could I mount the reefBrite to the Photon?

Was thinking of doing the same. I built a light bracket out of 80/20 for the photons themselves. I’m thinking you could Possibly use one of the brackets for the light strips themselves to attach to the 80/20. The top side of a photon fixture uses 20series extruded aluminum. That’s a perfect fit.

Can you post pics of your bracket and how you have the Photon mounted to it?

Currently don’t have the photon mounted, but have the bracket up. But basically I’m using 2 linking rails made of 20 series to connect the two 32 inch Photons together. Then these linking rails will attach to my light brackets made out of 15 series 80/20. I’m at work right now, but I do have a picture of the 20 series used on top. When I placed my order, I had some small pieces sent to experiment with.
