I have another tank like the tall one and was going to use them both for Water Change & Mixing. But they won’t both fit on the top of the utility stand. Thought about putting a tall one on top and a tall one inside but I would have to get on a ladder to get in the top one. The lowboy fits quite nicely on top and I can look in without stepping up. The lowboy will be used for RO top-off water unless I have an extra large need for water changes. The bottom tallman will always be for salt mixing unless I have a great need for more top-off water. No pipes or pipe fittings in the whole unit, all water is drawn over-the-top by tubing.

A guy on the big 27 page Klir review thread said Coralvue is still replacing old cages, just email or call. Another guy on the same thread said he email them and got an auto response back saying they got flooded by the hurricane. Might be awhile.
Mitchell.

Going to dose these two additives with a DOS +DDR out of a mini fridge. Most people put Entice right on the food but it says you can add it directly to the water column. A cap full. About 5-10mL. This will entice a feeding frenzy. But not to dose every day.

Thanks @Skibi . Well I bought two Maxspect Coral Glueguns this year. For the past two years then this will be the third, I’ve been buying them as part of my gifts for the R2R Secret Santa exchange. This year I bought a second one for myself. Thought id finally try it out since my elves have been making them. No, it looks like a good product and I haven’t used one because the tank has been fallow for the third year now. They’re waterproof and when the glue in the nozzle dries I believe you just heat up the nozzle with a heat gun. The package says “Precision, non-clogging nozzle. “ I will definitely use this when I glue together my rock structure.

Got the idea to use a whole bunch of colors, one for each additive I believe from @SkiCatTX . For elements, I’m pretty much set on the BRS-Tropic Marin hybrid method. That’s BRS for the majors: Calc, Alk, and Mag. Then with Tropic Marin, Component C provides the minor elements. Tropic Marin part A and K provide all the trace elements. Then as stated previously, since I’ve done a lot of research on this, I’m set on trying these two Red Sea additives: Reef Energy AB+ for coral supplement, and NO3-PO4-X as a carbon source to keep nutrients down to acceptable levels. Then I threw one in there for fun since I’ll have an available DDR chamber for something. Seachem Entice, to get finicky fish to eat. The NOPOX can only be unrefrigerated for up to 7 days. That’s why I’ll keep it in an Apexx DDR along with the Entice in a fridge and dose with the dosing lines going straight through the side of the refrigerator through bulkheads.

@powers2001 where did you get your mounts for your uv?
Yes @Skibi good question. I bought them from BRS, made by Neat Aquatics. However, at least on the website, they just have the mount brackets for Pentair UVs. Isn’t yours an Aqua Ultraviolet UV? When I was shopping for UVs I was considering an Aqua Ultraviolet UV and ran across mounting brackets for them. I believe you can use standard PVC pipe brackets on them but the custom ones would look better. I believe @SuncrestReef uses those custom brackets on his build for the same brand UV that you have. I would PM him or check out his build thread for answers.

I got the AquaUV mounting brackets here:

I have my UV mounted to the cabinet ceiling. Here's the view lookup up from below:
