Emailed Coralvue and got a response from Angie. She apologized for the late response since they are moving to a new warehouse and there are complications from the hurricane. She asked me if I had a proof of purchase for my Klir filter. I explained to her I bought my Klir from Synergy Reef Systems with a custom sump I ordered from them at the same time. This was Synergy’s first sump compatible with the Klir. Synergy bought a Klir specifically for the reason to obtain measurements from it for future building of Klir compatible sumps. They were done with the Klir when I ordered the sump and offered to sell the Klir to me as well. This is the story I told Angie and she remembered the story and me from a previous correspondence about replacing a faulty Klir motor. She said she will replace the cage to the Klir. A simple little email I sent saved me from paying $200 to replace the Klir.A guy on the big 27 page Klir review thread said Coralvue is still replacing old cages, just email or call. Another guy on the same thread said he email them and got an auto response back saying they got flooded by the hurricane. Might be awhile.
