The puck lights for the IKEA only came with double sided sticky pads even though the Amazon description says they come with screws. I don’t trust those sticky pads so I put some screws in.

I thought I’d share two items I bought from Amazon. A battery powered under cabinet LED for the electronics cabinet within the 250 cabinet. This is for redundancy as I already have main source of light AC powered cabinet LEDs. Then there’s a little lighted screwdriver especially for electronics like the BOB where the screw slots are tiny. (edit: photo didn’t upload)

Top photo the one that didn’t load in post #402.

I’m sending in my Apex display unit to Neptune Systems tomorrow. It shows as disconnected from the base unit on the modules‘ list although the screen is backlit without text. So the display is getting power but no data. Bottom photo is keyed electrical switch with stainless electrical switch plate. It will be wired to the breakout box. I will be able to lock the switch and remove the key to lock all the cabinet doors. The door locks are electromagnetic switches with 60 Kilograms of locking force.

how's the cabinet coming along? Looks like you have been busy shopping. :)

My cabinet is done. I am just awaiting for the bracket to mount the Vectra controller on the wall. It has been hard to find the OEM one here in Canada. No one I mean literally no one carry them. I had to ordered a 3D printed one from Ebay and this one also from a guy in the US. I will post picture of my cabinet when I got this one part as right now it seems a bit off to show picture with one controller is not mounted. :)

@canadianeh cabinet is coming along fine. Waiting for the 12V electromagnetic lock that’s switched by the electrical keyed switch. Yes I’ve been doing a lot of shopping. I’ve got enough parts to keep me busy for awhile. Can’t wait to see your cabinet. I’ve bought a lot of 3D parts printed. Probably enough to justify buying a printer.

Bought this multimeter off Amazon. It’s going to be handy for a lot of things especially for the DIY dimmable T5HO wire harness to ballasts and lamp endcaps which has a wiring diagram that’s a nightmare.

What’s the pros of doing this?:)
@canadianeh it converts the DOS head into standard fittings from the stock metric. With the modification you can use all kinds of standard fittings from John Guest brand RO style. And 1/4” tubing.
