Thought I would share some more pics since I have moved over more of the corals. It's funny how empty it looks even though there is a bunch of stuff in the tank. Maybe I should start getting colonies, but where's the fun in that;)

Can't forget Harold! He has actually gotten a bit of an attitude since the move. If my hand goes anywhere near his best friend, the wrasse, he starts backing up his little spikey butt towards me:/

I am already getting diatoms too, looks like I better put in a reefcleaners order.
2016-09-06-23-21-45.jpg

Yeesh, bristleworms anyone?
2016-09-05-22-21-33.jpg

My clowns are also starting to clean off their "special rock", so I can bet more eggs are on the way.

And my mandarin has continued to happily take frozen, which is great because the pods need to start getting busy! My go to place for pods had a culture crash so I grabbed a big hunk of cheato from a friend to add to what I had in the fuge to help. I am hoping to eventually find this handsome guy a red lady friend (and hopefully as easily trained to frozen) now that I have the room.

Future reef keeper? We can only hope! Now he keeps asking to "go see tank" which is a request I could never turn down:D

I also got crossed some books off my wish list for a steal! Plus they were 20% off on top of that! I am a huge book nerd, no shame:p

Thanks! Hahaha rub it in lol. I actually plan on having one as a kind of "take that stupid gums" thing when I am able to bite into stuff again. Unfortunately the doc said I still have another 6 weeks before that can happen, so I guess it's soft stuff and cutting everything into tiny pieces until then:( Watch the same thing will happen again and then I'll have another non insured surgery to deal with lol.

It'll all come together!! If you're anything like me, once you're "done" you'll get bored and upgrade :p:D

Sound like you're like me, do you're best work under pressure! Tank looks good, I really need to get my empty 90g off the bar and get it drilled.

Haha I literally just told my new boss this the other day! Luckily I am usually under some sort of pressure so I can always do a good job;) Thank you and do it, you can't waste a good tank and bar space like that! Lol

So one of the things that was actually thought out in this whole mess was my jawfish home. I made it out of pvc, 90° fittings, and a banacle i broke off a cluster that I had laying around. I used it as a base for the whole left side of the rock work. I was pretty proud of it:p Wouldn't you know the jawfish set up shop right behind it, just to tease me I think lol. I am hoping he will get annoyed and will check it out once his burrow collapses a few times since I went with oolite. For now I will not be giving him any rubble, but if he still hasn't moved in in a few weeks I might have to.

Thought I would share some pics of our trip to the Pittsburgh zoo. We go every year now with the grandparents. For some reason everyone always rushes me through the aquarium lol. Still mostly what I took pics of though;)

Looks like you had a great weekend @ReefQueen, nice zoo to. The nearest big zoo and public aquarium is like 7hrs from where I live, one downside to Australia lol.
Yes we did, it was the perfect day for it too. I have to say after going so often (it's only about 20 minutes or so from my house) that some of the fun has worn off. If I had to drive 7 hours I'm sure I would enjoy it more though lol. My son is liking it more and more each year though (the first 2 years he was still sort of young for it) so I have more fun watching him then the animals...except the aquarium, everyone knows that I will fall behind in there lol.

Tank looking great, I love the zoo pic, here, South Africa, we can drive 90min and be surrounded by hectares of wild animals in our game reserves, no we don't have wild animals roaming the streets :)
