I believe they have shipped all of our pre-orders as of today. We should begin shipping orders by the middle of next week at the latest.

It's probable that you got one that was defective out of the box. We can report this to Red Sea if you want to give us a call. Not sure if you bought it from us or not but we will help either way.

I went to Red Seas site and supposedly you can convert a current Red Sea skimmer to be self leveling. I am not clear on what all you have to purchase for the conversion
