Before we could even think about this build we needed to get the floors redone.

We just purchased this home in Naples FL and it came with what they called “New Floors” in half the house. Well… not exactly - these were indeed new floors BUT wood laminate installed over carpet padding!!! Seriously who does that!

We went with a strong porcelain wood like flooring… here’s the vid. Tank is going in the office which is the last room in vid:

Looking good! I plan on tiling the floor and putting g drains in before I start my massive spa build.
Thank you! Wish we would have taken the time to install a drain when we put the new floors in. We were anxious to get into the new house and would have delayed the project by a week. I love the new floors though and can't wait to get the tank on them.

The back wall the tank is going on is the garage and a bathroom, I'm thinking of running ATO direct from the garage and saving the ATO section in the sump to be used as a mini quarantine tank. Not sure yet. I need the tank in the house before I can make sense of everything. :D

thanks Rev!!!! Happy to be here! ;)

Don’t tell my husband, but I plan on starting the floor drain/tile project in about 9-10months.

And the rock is all in filling my head with non-stop scaping ideas that I have not yet begun. Not sure what I’m going to do with it yet.

That's a lot of rock to rock work! Can wait to see the lagoon you come up with!

***UPDATE - I’m not going to recommend purchasing these cups because one came off during the tank move. Fortunately we had some big dudes helping and one of the guys was quick to reposition and we kept trucking.

I think the cups were still crucial and glad we had them. It made it so much easier to lift the tank off the crate and to get it up onto the stand.****

Thank you for all of the comments, appreciate the support from everyone.

 Suction cups came in today. Moving this bad boy into the house on Saturday. Picked up 4 cups off of Amazon under next day delivery for $45 each. These are 8” IMT (B1000) pump-active cups and each one supports 176lb safe load capacity.

There are more expensive options and there are much less expensive options. These seemed like a reasonable purchase to me and had excellent reviews.

Tank dimensions:
70.8"Lx31.5"Wx23.6"H
3/4” Glass
Input that in a tank weight calculator:
512 lbs

Tank is in the house! Thank you to all that helped this weekend… could not have done it without you!!

You can see from the pics that we took the doors off for the move. It lightened the load and I also didn’t want to change breaking them.

My wife and I decided to put the tank in the den at the last minute. It will get much more visibility there and plenty of room to kick back and enjoy the tank.

*Video coming soon
