I pretty much only feed frozen foods (I throw in some pellets every now and again with little interest). I feed mostly brine shrimp with spirulina and mysis shrimp, sometimes I add reef plankton (I'm interested in adding other foods as well). My problem is I never need an entire cube. . .

could I thaw a bunch of the foods I want to feed daily, mix them together, and then refreeze the food in smaller portions?

Also could I add phytofeast or similar coral food to my pre-portioned fish food?

I just put frozen cube in my hand and use a knife and cut cube in half and put the still frozen half cube back in packet in freezer.

Don't even use that sharp a knife, just one I eat with.
But don't feed frozen cubed food that often know as feed mainly clams and sometimes oysters/scallops which all the fish love.
But yeah cut cube in half or defrost all and use half and refrigerate other half till next day/feeding time
