Refugium clean up crew!?!?!? This a a reattack on the subject.

I keep Hermit Crabs in the sump. I thought they might help manage organic matter build-up in the refugium. I don't know if they are really helping, but at least they aren't doing any harm.

4ppm is basically nothing at all it's recommended to try and stay around 5 but people run tanks much higher with great success. Mines around 15-20ppm with zero issues and great coloration. Now if you show a pic of your sump we might be able to help try and keep the chaeto clean . I deal with the same issue as I have no pre filter before entering the refugium unfortunately
