Does anyone know if I can rename where it says “apex” so I can tell my two tanks apart easily on Fusion.

You must use the Classic Dashboard for that. You can change the host name by going to Configuration->Network setup. Restart the Apex after you change the name.

I appreciate the help, do you know how I can get to the classic dashboard? The only thing I have ever use this fusion or the controller display

For anyone finding this after 2020, you need to find your apex's IP address and type it into your browser to arrive to your apex.local page. Sign in, go to network settings, locate the text box for "host name" and type in whatever you'd like to name your apex unit! You're all set!
