Just checking to see if anyone has retrofitted some led strips to their maxspect razor x and how did you do it. I have the 150w over a 93g cube tank and I'm getting some low light areas. I have two lumi lite pros I'm trying to figure out how to affix them to this fixture. Any experience or ideas will be appreciated.

Did you end up retrofitting yours? I have four maxspects over a 5ftx30inch tank, hung long ways over it. I would love to put T5 retros on each of them on the sides. I still find led tanks lack a little something. I dont have any shadows as I have four of the 3 puck version maxspects over my tank just not loving my lights as is.

I did actually. I only put one led strip on there to start, I still have another one I'll put on when needed. I just drilled a hole in the heatsink wing (easy, no issues) and attached with bolt, nut, and washer that fit my mounting bracket. Came out pretty clean
