Now the waiting game I only had 40 gallons of rodi premade so now I have to wait patiently for the other 30 gallons this tank dimensions shows 71 gallons to the top. Minus substrate live rock and corals
Instead of doing a leak test with my well water I’m doing full rodi and I’m sure everything will be ok and tomorrow I will add salt when o can fire the pumps up

thanks for following along. Very pumped with this new model

My basement during this time of year and with my wife only keeping the up stairs just over 70f. The basement temp is 68.9f. I added 2. Eheim 150watt heaters. One on each side of the filter chamber. I set the inkbird to 79 with it coming back on again at 78f. Too my surprise the heaters would run full time and only get to 78.5f. That’s not good. So I lowered the heaters to 78f - 77f. Which seems to work ok. The heaters do get a break. However I’m not happy with this so it looks like 250watt heaters will just fit the chamber height wise. So this week I will be going from 300watts to 500watts! And hopefully this system will do 79-78f with rest periods

Copper for 30 days. Than removed the copper for a week. Than a week of prazipro. Removed it than kanaplex. Nothing was dosed together. All this happened over two months

Gotcha. How did you remove the copper?

Did it take a week to remove, or did you just let it sit without meds for a week?

I did a bunch of water changes and put carbon back in. By the end of the week zero copper on test kit. Which was good enough for me. Than started prazi

How do you like the green killing machine uv? I’m thinking about the same. Worry about cheap uv that use non uv proof plastic and leaching chemicals to the tank.
